FAQ - So how does our Pizza/Pasta stay good for months without any chemicals and preservatives?

The answer lies in the science behind the recipe. Tomatoes are naturally acidic and have a low ph.

We add natural sugarcane vinegar to bring the ph level to an optimum value at which if proper hygiene is maintained, no bacterial growths or spoilage takes place. Also, once we gently cook the tomatoes, lycopene levels increase which is a natural antioxidant and protects the colour so we do not need to add a chemical anti-oxidants too.

Once opened, the bottle must be placed in the fridge and consumed within 6-7 weeks.

Please take care not to let any external food like cheese, bread crumbs or butter get into the jar as it will lead to spoilage. Please use a clean dry spoon everytime.

I tried Organic Pizza & Pasta Sauce from Orchard Lane and I was pleasantly surprised! The sauce was very flavorful without the addition of any added sugar. The sauce had a nice balance of acidity and sweetness without being overly sweet. The texture was smooth and creamy, making it a great accompaniment to any type of pizza or pasta dish.
